Hello followers,
Let me start off with wishing everbody a Happy New Year. I hope 2012 will be a great year for all off you with lots off love, health, fun and happiness.
I hope everbody enjoyed there hollidays as much as I did. Causse it was awesome!! We finished the work on the spa so it was ready just before christmas. So we spend a lot off time in Reddo's ultimate beergarden :-)
Christmas day started off really great with a champagne breakfast at Mel's parents place. They even got me a gift as well :-) they gave me a walking tour in Perth so I get to know the city a bit more! They also gave me the ulitmate Rockingham Rams gift.... a nice polo shirt so now I'm really one of the boys haha. Mel also gave me an awesome gift, a Ghost Tour in Fremantle! We already did the tour, but I'll tell you about it a litle bit later ;-)After Breakfast I went to Reddo's parent for lunch. Which was also really awesome! they gave me a book with all the Aussie slang which I'm studying at the moment. After that myself, Benn and Reddo went back home and filled our allready full stomach with some more beer and chilled in the Spa :P So a big thank you to Mel and the Berwicks, Andrew and the Redmans and the Bennies for a an awesome Christmas.
The rest of the week we chilled a lot and I worked a litle bit. Which was freakin hot, cause we had a couple off 39 degrees days the past week.
What else have I been up to? Went to my first Aussie Soccer Match with Reddo and his mates, which was a pretty cool. We where sitting on the side with al the die hard Perth Glory fans, so as you can imagine it was a litle bit rough in the stands haha.
Then on friday Mel took me on the Ghost Tour in Fremantle. It was an awesome tour on a tram all the way trough Fremantle with a couple off stops at some historical buildings which had some spooky story's. Hightlight off the evening was a lantern tour at the Fremantle Prison. Which was closed in 1992. That was a kinda creepy and spooky place but an awesome experience. Thanks Heaps for that Mel :-)
New years Eve!!!! We spended NYE at the Perth Cup, which is a horse race. Was a really nice day with awesome people, lots of drinks and a few bets. After that we went to the Casino and closed 2011 and started 2012.
So what now? Recover from NYE, get back on the jobhunt, and back to baseball practice causse the season is getting started again soon :-)
