it all comes to an end

Hello hello,

This will probably my last blog before I go home... I'm excited to go see everybody extually, catch up with everyone and get back to baseball. On the other hand... I really don't want to leave this place... It has been such an experience, have met so many great people.. and yeah... I just love it over here... Feels like I have my 2nd home!! So yeah... this last week is going to be tough... but also going to be fun :-)

So what have I been up to the last few weeks? Basicly just working... but also lots off fun stuff and baseball.

I'm proud that I can say that I have won the fairest and best award for the Rockingham Rams Triple A squad. (MVP) It has been an honour to play play for the Rams, and who knows? I might be back and get some more state league action ;-)

Other then that, there's been a few party's, BBQ's and just lots off booz in general haha.

Last wednesday was Anzac day over here. It's a memorial day for those who died in a batle during World War I. What do people do here on Anzac day? They go to the pub, drink lots off beer, watch the footy, place some bets and then play a game called 2hop.. (heads or tails for grown ups ;-)) so yeah basicly my kind off public holiday haha

What else is there to say? well it's my last week, flying back on may 9 and will arrive in Amsterdam on may 10. I'm having practice on the 10th and then my first game for twins this year on the 12th (twins is doing an awesome job btw... they are 4-3 at the moment so come down and check us out!!!) And untill that time.... I'm going to enjoy every moment I have got left here! Doing a Perth City tour, having my "see you later drinks on saturday" (if i have not invited you for that, im sorry and you are more then welcome to come over on saturday May 5 at Reddos place around 4 o'clock, bring your own beer and bbq stuff ;-))
Probably going to a footy game on sunday (I will root for your Roos Benny), go to Margreth River on Monday and then pack my bags and fly out!

So yeah... This is it... I hope you guys have enjoyed reading my blogs! It was fun to write them!

Last off all I want to give all the people off the Rockingham Rams a big thank you. You have been like a family for me! It was awesome, and I'm looking forward to come back and play for you again. Then I want to thank Reddo for letting me stay at his house, Reddo you are an awesome bloke and a true friend!
